Medical Welfare Consultation Office

So that patients, whether inpatient or outpatient, can recover in confidence, our hospital offers the services of both Medical Social Workers and Psychiatric Social Workers who can help patients and their families cope with the stresses that recovery from illness or injury can impose. They will work with doctors, nurses and related institutions near patient’s home to help them solve any problems related to their treatment or recovery. Please feel free to consult with the Office as you feel necessary.

  • Uncertainties about how to secure nursing care
  • Questions about social welfare programs
  • Information about available social facilities

Monday~Friday
8:45am ~ noon
1:00pm ~ 5:00pm
Saturday
8:45am ~ 12:35pm
The Center is closed the 2nd & 4th Saturdays of each month, Sundays and all public holidays as well as July 1.

Using the Medical Welfare Consultation Office

Our staff is ready to speak with patients or their families about all sorts of issues related to treatment and care. They are specialized social workers who bring a different perspective to such matters than doctors or nurses. Of course, everything discussed at the center will be held in the strictest confidence. If you’d like to speak with someone at the center, please inform your doctor or a nurse, or just come directly to the Patient Flow Management center on the 1st floor of the hospital. Consultations are available at the hours shown above, and they are completely free.
